It’s time to begin preparing for 4-H public presentations! All Sussex County 4-H members are encouraged to develop a public presentation on a topic of their choice. This is a great opportunity for 4-H’ers to learn something new, develop a presentation and share it with fellow members. Developing presentation skills now will benefit all members later in life. Public speaking is a vital component of professional life.
Presentations may be made at the club or county level. Members who plan to participate at the county level may schedule their presentation for one of four Friday nights in March. To register for county level presentations, please download, complete and return a registration form.
- Registration forms must be returned to the Sussex 4-H Office no later than Sunday, February 1. This is a hard deadline with no exceptions.
- Requests for presentation dates will be scheduled on a first received/first scheduled basis. If you want or need to present on a specific night, get your application in early!
- Presentations including live animals may only be made at the Frankford Twp School on March 6 or March 13.
- Some clubs require their members to make a public presentation to be eligible to compete at the fair. Please check with your club leader.
