4-H is an informal, practical educational program for youth. It is the youth development program of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, the off-campus division of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station of Rutgers University.

The 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach to enable youth to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need to become competent, caring and contributing citizens of the world. This is accomplished by using the knowledge and resources of caring adults.

Located in the northwest corner of New Jersey, Sussex County is host to more than 60 4-H clubs, 700 members and over 160 volunteers.

This site has been developed as a digital magazine to showcase achievement and share information about the Sussex County 4-H program.
