What: The State 4-H Small Animal Educational Symposium hosted by the State 4-H Small Animal Project Advisory Council will provide an opportunity for 4-H members, leaders and parents to participate in a variety of educational events all in one day. Activities and events planned include: rabbit hopping contest, art show, avian bowl, animalology contest, writing workshop, reptile workshop, show etiquette workshop and poultry & rabbit showmanship workshops.
Who: This event is open to 4-H members in grades 4-13, 4-H leaders and parents who are involved in the rabbit, cavy, small animal, herpetology and poultry 4-H project areas.
When: Saturday, March 22, 2014 – 10:00 AM-3:30 PM
Where: Office of Government Services, Cooperative Extension/4-H Office, 1200 North Delsea Drive, Clayton Registration: The cost is $12.00 per person for youth (includes entry fees for the Rabbit Hopping, 4-H Avian Bowl or Animalology Contest and the 4-H Art Show as well as lunch, program supplies and awards) and $10.00 per adult.
